What to include

• For a download that failed: the YouTube link, whether you chose MP4 or MP3, the resolution or bitrate, which phone or computer and browser you used, and the wording of any error you saw. A screenshot helps. Most failures are already explained in the FAQ.
• For a copyright notice: use the format set out on the copyright claims page. Notices that arrive in that format are processed fastest.
• For a privacy question: read the privacy policy first; it is short. If it does not answer you, ask.
• For a suggestion: describe the task you had in mind and the point at which the downloader let you down.

A few things we cannot help with

We cannot recover YouTube accounts, restore videos that YouTube has removed, or download from sites other than YouTube. We also do not offer phone or chat support. Please never send passwords or payment details by email; we will never ask for them.
